A creek for everyone
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to defend the nest. This statement explains how the site supports different ways of playing and how to tell us about problems.
Keyboard play
The whole game works without a mouse. Use Tab to move between build spots, then press 1 for a heron, 2 for a net or 3 for an otter. U or Enter upgrades a defender, N calls the next wave and P pauses. A skip link at the top of every page jumps straight to the content.
Screen readers
Build spots, defenders and the score panel have text labels, and game messages are announced through a live region. The board itself is a drawing, so we describe what happens in words beside it.
Contrast and reading
Text uses light colours on dark backgrounds with strong contrast, and pages keep working when you zoom to 200%. Focus is always shown with a clear honey-coloured outline.
Motion
If your system asks for reduced motion, the wheel turns quickly and stops, and decorative animations are switched off.
Languages
Every page, including the game, can be read in English, Bengali, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Your choice is remembered on your device.
Known limits
The game board is visual by nature, and fast later waves may be hard to follow without sight. Pausing at any time with P gives you room to plan.
Report a barrier
If something stops you from using the site, write to creek@lefituistnegsh.info with the page, your browser and any assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within three working days.
